Purpose: Kodak Software Updater.exe - The Kodak Software updater is designed to ensure that your Kodak EasyShare software is always up to date with the latest features and improvements from Kodak. KSU periodically queries a Kodak server to check for enhancements to or new versions of your Kodak EasyShare software. The updater compares information provided by the Kodak server and transferred to your computer with the current version installed on your hard drive to determine if the available updates are appropriate for your system. If you are still uncomfortable with the updater feature of Kodak EasyShare software, it is possible either to disable the Kodak Software Updater, or to un-install it from your computer. Doing this will only affect your ability to receive automatic updates. All other functions of Kodak EasyShare software will continue to work as distributed. Instructions for disabling the KSU are included in the help for Kodak EasyShare software. If you have disabled automatic updates, you may periodically check with Kodak for new or improved versions of Kodak EasyShare software. Remember, however, that downloading and installing these new versions will re-enable the Kodak Software updater.
